Lurgan has many main roads passing through it. The A3 road from Portadown and Armagh enters the town from the north west and leaves the town at its south boundary and is known as the Belfast road.
Another main road entering Lurgan is the B3 Gilford road. This road enters the town at the south where it meets another main road, the A26 Banbridge road. To the north of the town is the A76 Lough road that leads to the M1 motorway.
